How to Make Getting Fit Fun

1. Make your own goals

Rather than following a general goal take some time to think about what you want. Set a specific goal that can be measured. Instead of saying that you want to get fit, write down specifically how fit. Want to run further or lose weight? How far and how much weight? Then measure your progress using Fitlink to track it.

2. Mix up your exercise

Variety is key! So many sports and activities overlap. Change it up and you can make it far more fun. A great way to mix it up is to set challenges with your friends and colleagues using Fitlink. You can challenge each other in leagues and get rewarded for it.

3. Do short bursts of exercise

Any activity is good activity. Doing 10 minute active breaks throughout the day are a great way to add more activity. If you’re stuck for time and can’t do 30 minutes of moderate activity then try a short burst of activity like a HIIT workout. See Fitlink’s 10 min HIIT here.

4. Make it Social

However you’re planning on getting fitter, whether it’s taking up a new sport, taking up running or making your diet healthier, try to find a friend to help. You’ll push each other to stay on track. Join an online community and you’ll find it far more easier and fun to get fit.

5. Use Fitlink
